Coffee Rub For Beef
- 100g Code Black 3056 blend – ground
- 50g sea salt flakes
- 15g cracked black pepper
- 10g fennel seeds
- 10g onion powder
- 7g smoked paprika
- 3g dried thyme leaves
- Toast the fennel seeds and black pepper in a 180 degree Celsius oven for 3 minutes.
- Place everything into a mixing bowl and mix well.
- When rubbing the beef (brisket works best), apply liberally and let marinate overnight.
