(Please note that this coffee is roasted to order once a week on Tuesdays)

Rigoberto Herrera of Cafe Granja la Esperanza is the producer of this rare coffee.

A culture of innovation across a century of experience at G.L.E. has culminated in this very lot. The Napolean is an anaerobic natural processed geisha, produced using peak harvest cherries harvested from Las Margaritas farm.

Superb climates and rich volcanic soils in the region contribute to the depth and complexity of this exotic varietal, and contribute to the incredible cup profile of the coffees from the Cauca Valley.

The cherries of Napolean are picked by workers specifically as indicated by an 18-Brix sugar reading. These whole cherries are then specifically screen sorted and left to ferment in sealed bags for 168hours maintained at low temperatures. Post-fermentation, the cherries are mechanically dried slowly and systematically across 96 hours, with a stabilised rest period of two months.

We hope you enjoy this truly unique coffee.
