Our Spring seasonal blend has been a while in the making and this time we've lovingly combined a savoury-sweet Central American, with a deliciously fruity and citrusy African natural.
Our New Seasonal Blend is made up of:
35% Guatemala Todosantarita Washed
65% Ethiopia Kesha Kochere Natural
Our primary component for Spring Seasonal is the Ethiopia Kesha Kochere. One of the most well known names from the Yirgacheffe region, it needs no further introduction. It is a fruity, delicious coffee, full of stonefruit, citrus and hints of nuts. We've bought microlots from here for many seasons, and we think we'll continue to do so for many more to come. The quality from Yirgacheffe is consistently outstanding.
The Guatemala Todosantarita lot is Guatemala at it's finest- we visited these guys up in Huehuetenango earlier this year and were amazed at how incredible their organisation was. Todosantarita Coop is made of 127 members, and they are a wonderful people. One characteristic of the community in and around Todos Santos is that a very large proportion of the population dress in their traditional attire on a daily basis. It is an experience like no other to arrive into this village for the first time.
As always, the focus of our Seasonal blend is to showcase coffee that we feel work harmoniously together in the cup, while providing constancy across part of the year.
