The first coffee I received was a very robust Kenyan peaberry, the second was a extremely well-rounded Ethiopian. The cost of both coffees was less via the subscription than if I had purchased them directly and are coffees I would have been happy to pay the sticker price for. I enjoy that the roaster has provided two interesting coffees, rather than sending out safe options. What appeals to me about a subscription is the expert curation of the more exotic stuff, I know how to source 'safe' beans reliably and wouldn't need a subscription for that.

I’ve had one month of this subscription and it was a great brew, very happy. I hope it continues to be this delicious every month.

The subscription is great - until you get a flavour you don't enjoy and have two packets of it to get through... Looking at you Brazil Vinhal Lot 004 Natural Anaerobic Filter - Single Origin.

It would be great if we could get two different varieties instead of two of the same.
