Hacienda La Esmeralda is the Panamanian estate that put Geisha on the map, where high altitude terroir and meticulous farming turn every microlot into a benchmark of elegance.

Grown high above Boquete in the famed Canas Verdes section of Hacienda La Esmeralda, this Geisha microlot comes from 4.5 hectares of carefully managed trees averaging 10 years of age. The farm’s cool, high altitude climate and distinct dry season create a clean, fragrant cup that has helped define Panama Geisha around the world.

After harvest, the cherries are transported to Hacienda La Esmeralda’s mill in Palmira, where they are washed and then sun‑dried for 16 days on concrete patios. This slow, even drying preserves floral sweetness and a lifted acidity, giving the coffee a delicate jasmine aroma and a silky, tea like finish.
